  4. Arrange all your tools; – hammer, nail punch, chisel, screw driver, step ladder, planks, garden hose and a knapsack.
  5. Remove all skirting – mouldings and architraves – light & power switches.
  6. Damp down the asbestos and keep it damp for the duration of the project.
  7. With your punch and hammer, punch the nail through the asbestos and very carefully remove the sheets and keep it wet to avoid any dust which will be full of asbestos particles.
  8. Do not break, drill, saw, smash asbestos under any circumstances.
  9. Wear disposable overalls available from most hardware stores – protective eye ware – breathing apparatus – gloves and footwear.
  10. Very carefully place it in the asbestos bin that is lined with plastic. It is very important to keep it wet while in the bin. If left overnight, wet it the next morning and keep it wet.
